FALL 2025
Classes begin Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025

Quarter One
THE DEVOTED LIFE
In this course, students will discuss the essentials of living a Christian life. You will learn about the attributes of God, the trinity, salvation, and your reason to believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
PRAYER LIFE
In this course, students will discuss the elements of a successful prayer life. You will learn the different types of prayers, spirit-led prayer, spiritual disciplines, biblical faith keys, and more.
Quarter Two
PRAISE LIFE
In this course, students will examine the importance of praise & worship in the life of a believer. Students will discuss methods of praise & worship, and the keys to praise and worship in a successful believer’s life.
AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVER
In this course, students will discuss the nature of man, the use of your authority, overcoming strongholds and keys to living in freedom.

Quarter Three
HOW TO STUDY YOUR BIBLE
In this course, students will learn the elements of bible study. Students will discuss the different methods of bible reading, how to read the bible for understanding, and basic bible history.
YOUR FRIEND HOLY SPIRIT
In this course, students will learn about the person, attributes, and work of the Holy Spirit in a believer’s life, and examine all of the gifts, symbols, and purposes of the Holy Spirit.
Quarter Four
BIBLE CHARACTERS
In this course, students will review the lives of key Biblical characters. Students will discuss their weaknesses, strengths, adversity, and triumph.
CULTURE OF HONOR
In this course, students will learn the elements of honoring themselves and others. You will learn how to relate to spiritual authority, biblical ethics, honoring yourself, and how to overcome temptation.

What is Step 5?
Step 5 is Impact Church’s new 9-month discipleship biblical based certificate program designed to support participants’ spiritual growth, help develop the skills they need to serve in ministry and provide practical steps on how to share the gospel with others.
When does Step 5 start and where are the classes held?
Classes begin on August 30th and are held every Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Impact Church: 22104 Novi Road, Novi, MI 48375.
Is there an orientation session for Step 5?
There is an orientation seminar scheduled for Saturday, August 23rd from 10am to noon. Attendance at the orientation is highly encouraged for all participants.
Who can attend Step 5?
Step 5 is open to any adult interested in deepening their spiritual understanding and personal growth. Interested prospects do not need to be a member of Impact Church to participate.
How will students be evaluated in Step 5?
Students will be graded on a pass/fail scale.
What is the attendance policy?
The program length is 9 months with weekly classes focused on practical biblical teaching and applications for daily life. Attendance at each session is important to maximize students’ learning experience. With that said, it’s understood that students may have to miss a class session on occasion. However, excessive absences could result in a failing grade for a given class, and the student may be asked to audit the class by returning the following year. Please keep in mind that there are no refunds after Sunday, August 30th.
What are the costs associated with Step 5?
The cost is $130 per student. However, those that register with a $25 deposit by Sunday, August 3rd will receive a 50% discount, cutting their cost to $65. Final payment in full is due on or before Sunday, November 16, 2025. There are no refunds after Saturday, August 30th.
When is the deadline to register for Step 5?
The registration deadline is Sunday, August 17, 2025. Early registration is encouraged to secure your place and take advantage of the lower fee.
Will I receive a refund if I change my mind?
Refunds are available before the first day of class, Saturday, August 30th.
Are makeup sessions offered if students are unable to attend a session?
Unfortunately, there are no makeup sessions.
