Who We Are: Impact Church is a diverse community of both believers and seekers that come together to know God, find freedom, discover purpose & make a difference. Impact’s weekly Sunday service is specifically designed to be a safe place for people who don’t usually attend church. So far, more than a thousand people say they became a Christian while attending one of the church’s services or outreach activities.

Our Story: Impact Church Metro Detroit (ICD) was launched in September 2020 as a church plant of Impact Church in Jacksonville, FL, which is a global network, overseen by Bishop George Davis, with churches in the US, India, and Peru.
ICD held its first service on September 13, 2020 at The Meridian Banquet Hall in Farmington Hills. After the first year, we moved our service to the nearby Holiday Inn & Suites while searching for a place we could call home. We soon identified a former Ace Hardware store in Novi that had been vacant for over a decade. The owner had recently renovated the building and being virtually empty from wall to wall, it was a perfect blank canvas to transform into our first permanent location.
Grace is a graduate of the University of Michigan with bachelor degrees in communications & psychology. She has two great passions in this season of her life: supporting her family, and leading Impact Church. She and David have been married since 2006 and have two children, Karis and David II.
David is a native-Detroiter who has served in ministry for over two decades and has received numerous leadership awards including the Hands On Award from the Detroit Youth Foundation, the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Detroit Housing Commission, and the Exceptional Leadership Award from the Nat’l Congress for Community Economic Development. Pastor DJ (as he is affectionately called) has keynoted for a diversity of audiences & denominations in cities and countries across the globe. Above all, he is a child of God, a loyal husband & a committed father and he measures true success in his life by the prosperity of these three relationships.
